Just a quickie here, but recently we had several Windows 2003 servers performing so sluggish it made one want to take a hammer to the server. After consultation with the wonderful members of spiceworks it was determined that Kaspersky 6.0.1212 had a bug that brought on this poor performance over several months. Updating to the the newest Kasperksy version fixes the whole thing.
